TOP TIER CARTS NEW GOLF CART WARRANTY POLICY

• Warranty period for qualifying vehicles: 2023 and older Models: One year coverage, applies to all new golf carts. Coverage begins at the date customer takes possession of the vehicle. warranty stays with the original purchaser and cannot transfer to another owner. 2024 and newer Models: Two year coverage, applies to all new golf carts. Coverage begins at the date customer takes possession of the vehicle. warranty stays with the original purchaser and cannot transfer to another owner. Effective 3.9.25. All New Golf Cart purchases after 3.9.25 will require service performed every 6 months by Top Tier Carts. If service is not performed and documented, warranty will be voided. Top Tier Carts may allow for a certified technician from a third party company to perform the bi-annual service. Approval MUST be obtained prior to service being performed or the warranty will be voided. 

• This warranty will cover replacement of all manufactured defective parts. The warranty only covers originally factory installed parts and does not cover any aftermarket accessories even if installed by the manufacturer. This warranty does not cover any expenses incurred in; transporting the Vehicle to and from TOP TIER CARTS or an authorized Dealer, technician, or designee of TOP TIER CARTS for warranty service. TOP TIER CARTS will offer technical assistance to help evaluate and determine actual issues with said training technicians. The original purchaser must operate the vehicle and maintain the vehicle in accordance with the instructions provided in the owner’s manual, the supplements thereto and labels affixed to the vehicle. Additionally, within 10 days of the discovery of the alleged defects the original purchaser must return the product to the original dealer for evaluation of repairs. General exclusions: this limited warranty does not cover component failure or damage caused by any of the following, abnormal strain or stress, neglect, abuse, improper assembly of components which were supplied in the factory seal carton, improper maintenance, improper use of the vehicle, including but not limited to racing, jumping, stunt driving, or any other use prohibited by the operator’s manual. Additionally, this warranty does not cover component failure or damage to vehicles which are leased or rented or vehicles that are used in concession or commercial operations. All warranties are non-transferrable. Special Exclusions: This limited warranty does not apply to components which are subject to normal wear and tear. These items include but are not limited to the tires, clutch, brakes, throttle cable, drive belt, certain torque converters components, seats, lights, fasteners, decals, or cosmetic body panels. EXCLUSIONS: Specifically EXCLUDED from this Limited Warranty are include but are not limited to the tires, clutch, brakes, throttle cable, drive belt, certain torque converters components, seats, lights, fasteners, decals, or cosmetic body panels, routine maintenance items, normal wear and tear, cosmetic deterioration, or electrical components damaged as a result of uctuations in electrical current, damage to or deterioration of a vehicle resulting from inadequate maintenance, neglect, abuse, accident, or collision. Any customization or modification of the vehicle of any sort will void the warranty, and TOP TIER CARTS will not be held responsible for any damage caused by customizations or modifications. TOP TIER CARTS makes no other warranty of any kind expressed or implied. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.

INCONVENIENCE OR ANY ECONOMIC LOSS. WHETHER OR NOT TOP TIER CARTS WAS APPRISED OF THE FORSEEABILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSSES. THE RIGHT OF PURCHASER TO RECOVER DAMAGES WITHIN THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION IS THE PURCHASER’S EXCLUSIVE ALTERNATIVE REMEDY IF THE LIMITED REMEDY OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE VEHICLE FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT THIS ALTERNATIVE REMEDY WILL BE ENFORCEABLE EVEN IF THE LIMITED REMEDY OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. ANY LEGAL CLAIM OR ACTION ARISING THAT ALLEGES BREACH OF WARRANTY MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN THREE (3) MONTHS FROM THE DATE THE WARRANTY CLAIM ARISES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY MAY LAST. AS SUCH, THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. WARNING: ANY MODIFICATION OR CHANGE TO THE VEHICLE OR BATTERY CHARGER WHICH ALTERS THE WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION OR STABILITY OF THE VEHICLE, INCREASES THE VEHICLE’S SPEED. OR ALTERS THE OUTPUT OF THE BATTERY CHARGER BEYOND FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS, CAN RESULT IN PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. DO NOT MAKE ANY SUCH MODIFICATIONS OR CHANGES. SUCH MODIFICATIONS OR CHANGES WILL VOID THE LIMITED WARRANTY. TOP TIER CARTS DISCLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY SUCH MODIFICATIONS. CHANGES, OR SUCH ALTERATIONS THAT WOULD ADVERSELY IMPACT THE SAFE OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE OR BATTERY CHARGER

 

REFURBISHED AND PREOWNED CART WARRANTY POLICY

Top Tier Carts does not guarantee a warranty on every single refurbished or preowned cart. Warranty coverage will be determined on a case-by-case, transactional basis. Whether or not a warranty is available will be indicated at the bill of sale and specified on your invoice.

• If your pre-owned golf cart has warranty, then following details will apply:

• • Warranty period for pre-owned golf cart: Coverage begins at the date customer takes possession of the vehicle.

  • Warranty does NOT cover transport to and from repair shop, does not cover labor. Customers will be responsible for transporting the vehicle to and from this location for repairs and service.

  • The warranty will be considered void if: Damage to the vehicle is caused by misuse or abuse, poor maintenance, neglect, collision, accident, or for unreasonable or unintended strain or use. The warranty shall not apply to cosmetic wear and tear, fading due to exposure, improper charging (over- or undercharging), rusted or corroded hardware, improper fluid levels, loose wiring, or loose fasteners.

  • Other reasons that the warranty may be voided include: Signs that the vehicle has been subject to alteration after leaving the premises. This includes but is not limited to modification of the speed governor, braking system, steering, drive unit or any other operating system of the vehicle that could cause it to perform outside of set specifications.

  • To process a claim: Please contact our store and have a copy of your paid invoice ready, along with the vehicle's serial number. We will work with you to schedule a time to bring your vehicle in for evaluation. While coverage of warranties is rarely an issue, we reserve the right to approve or deny a claim at our discretion.

 

Lithium Battery Warranty Policy​

Top Tier Carts warranties OUR lithium batteries for 5 years from the purchase date. All of our batteries are tested according to Federal Law and The CPSC. The warranty will be void if under the discretion of Top Tier Carts that any of one of the following has occurred; neglect, manipulation, and vandalism. In addition, any damaged caused by fire, freeze, or flood. 

If the warranty claim is approved in writing by Top Tier Carts, the cost of the new battery will be covered, including shipping. Labor is not covered and is the financial responsibility of the buyer/consumer. The warranty does not cover the charger, controller, and battery indicator. Lithium battery warranties are non-transferable. 

**SUBMISSION OR REGISTRATION OF 3RD PARTY LITHIUM BATTERY WARRANTIES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. TOP TIER CARTS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR REGISTERING FOR THE CUSTOMER.
